The two I use are up on the sidebar (Litopia and YouWriteOn), but there are others out there if you know where to look.<BR/><BR/>Beta readers are somewhat harder to find. You have to find someone who is honest enough to give you stern critiques, talented enough to give you good advice, and stubborn enough to read through a novel that isn't totally perfected yet. Friends and family members generally aren't a good choice, unless you have a writer friend that knows the value of a good critique. After you get critiques from a popular site, you may want to consider getting acquainted with one author in particular and exchanging beta reads.<BR/><BR/>Just make sure you get plenty of critiques and revisions on your book before you even consider sending it out to an agent.
